From San Francisco or Sacramento: Take I-80 East to Sacramento. Get on US 50 East to Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. Follow US 50 into South Lake Tahoe. At the "Y" intersection, go straight on State Hwy 89 and continue 2.7 miles to the Tallac Historic Site. You will see a sign with the word VALHALLA on the right.

Due to the limited parking spaces at Valhalla, we encourage carpooling. If parking lot is full, feel free to park along Hwy 89 outside entrance.

We now have a shuttle solution if you want to park at the 'Y' in the South Four Center Shopping Center (where Hwy 50. and Hwy 89 intersect) and get shuttled in. The shuttle will run from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Ceremony starts promptly at 6:30 PM. The company is called Shuttle Around Tahoe. It will run about every 15 minutes.
